Cranial
Sacral Program Curriculum: Program Dates TBA
This program consists of two components: Training Modules and Enrichment
Studies. Together, these comprise a complete body of material. Certification
students design their own curriculum format by choosing from the following
course offerings, while incorporating the enrichment studies as a
vital part of their learning. Continuing education students are invited
to take any part of this training as individual courses. Modules dates
are arranged for students to enter the program in either the Spring
or the Fall (one module approximately every 4 weeks, with completion
in 6 months). Or students may spread the program out over a full year.

tuition information.
Module
Class Times
Friday - Sunday from 9 am - 6 pm
The
Sky Within: Introduction to Cranial Sacral Dynamics
No prerequisite. Introduces basic approaches for working with cranial
sutures, vault bones, cranial base, cranial membrane system, sacrum,
and cerebrospinal fluid. Explores the role of the cranial sacral system
in structural and physiological health.
Classes to be announced
Where Sky Meets Earth: Dynamics of the Sacrum & Pelvis
Prerequisite: Introduction to Cranial Sacral Dynamics or instructor
permission. Focuses on the position and mobility of the sacrum, the
function of the pelvic girdle, the interaction of the cranial and sacral
elements, and the role of the lower extremities and feet in providing
stability and somatic grounding.
Classes to be announced
Advanced Cranial Techniques I: Dynamics of the
Base & Vault
Prerequisite: Introduction to Cranial Sacral Dynamics and Dynamics
of the Sacrum & Pelvis. Introduces deeper biodynamic potencies
in cerebrospinal fluid and presents detailed work with the cranial
sacral system for treatment of restriction, strain and trauma.
Classes to be announced
Advanced Cranial Techniques II: Dynamics of the Face & TMJ
Prerequisite: Introduction to Cranial Sacral Dynamics and Dynamics
of the Sacrum & Pelvis. Explores the multi-dimensional nature
of the face and jaw (visceral, emotional, physiological and structural),
again working with biodynamic potencies to treat restriction, strain
and trauma of the places where we “face” life.
Classes to be announced
Sky, Earth & Persona: Cranial Sacral Integration
Prerequisite: Introduction to Cranial Sacral Dynamics and Dynamics
of the Sacrum & Pelvis. Presents further work for cranial sacral
and cranial structural unwinding, and focuses on methods for guiding
clients toward improved function and long-term health.
Classes to be announced
Enrichment Studies
55 Hours
This aspect of the Certification Program is designed to complement
and expand a student's hands-on classroom experience. Enrichment Studies
provide opportunities for practice, deeper study, experimentation
and integration of the work. Course work can begin at any time, must
be complete for certification and includes:practicum sessions: 10
one-hour sessions per Training Module. Assigned reading: The Heart
of Listening: A Visionary Approach to Craniosacral Work, by Hugh Milne.
