This course emphasizes the clinical aspect of Shiatsu and the application
of the five element theory. Whether you are a beginning student or an
experienced practitioner, Shiatsu will enhance, deepen and broaden your
bodywork practice. Demystify the five element theory, utilize shiatsu
techniques along meridian lines and tsubo points. This course teaches
full body Shiatsu incorporating gait analysis, meridians and bodymechanics.
Credits can be applied toward New York State Licensure requirements
in Oriental Bodywork. Prerequisite: Knowledge of anatomy
and massage therapy.
