Communication & Self-Care Successful client-therapist relationships depend
on skills that include listening, maintaining healthy boundaries, resolving
conflict, and providing support for emotional release. Students learn
methods to deal with their own issues, which enables them to more effectively
facilitate a client's process. Various exercises assist students in
refining their communication styles. Role playing simulates the client-therapist
interaction. Bach Flower Remedies, which are presented as part of this
coures, assist the student to get in touch with and resolve deep rooted
thoughts, feelings, beliefs and patterns which give rise to conflict
and suffering. Students will explore the use of the flower remedies
both for personal use, as well as their application in the professional
setting. Each participant will be guided to create a flower remedy formula
for their unique needs. Participants will also receive their individualized
formula to take home to experience it directly over proceeding weeks.
The day will be a combination of lecture and experiential exercises
to enhance the understanding of the Flower Remedies and their use.
