Reflexology Level II: A Holistic Approach/The Spinal Reflexes
(Pre-requisite: Reflexology I: An Introduction)
16 CE hours for Massage Therapists
15 PDA points for Acupuncturists have been approved by the NCCAOM
$260 Full tuition, or $230 (paid two weeks in advance)
This Level II course provides more in-depth information that relates to material covered in Level I, including new foot reflex points, sequencing, treatment techniques, and more advanced hand reflexology. Level II also presents the spinal reflexes, and students study the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, skeletal/muscular systems in this relation. Students also learn about the importance and use of client treatment forms, consultation, and “mapping” in order to effectively evaluate a client’s needs to provide a holistic, and professional treatment. Students will demonstrate a “full” treatment of the right foot.
Reflexology Level III: The Role of Reflexology in Digestion and Detoxification
(Pre-requisite: Reflexology II: A Holistic Approach)
16 CE hours for Massage Therapists
$260 Full tuition, or $230 (paid two weeks in advance)
The Level III course considers the importance of diet, nutrition, and the elimination of toxins from the body. Students will learn a foot treatment protocol, with emphasis on the digestive and renal reflexes on both feet, how to identify blockages in these systems, and basic anatomy and physiology of the digestive and renal systems. Corresponding reflex points will be practiced on the hands, and students will demonstrate a foot treatment that incorporates the reflexes learned in previous classes.
Reflexology Level IV: Taking it to Heart
(Pre-requisite: Reflexology III: The Role of Reflexology in Digestion and Detoxification)
16 CE hours for Massage Therapists
15 PDA points for Acupuncturists have been approved by the NCCAOM
$260 Full tuition, or $230 (paid two weeks in advance)
This course of study focuses attention around the reflexes corresponding to the circulatory and lymphatic systems. Emphasis is placed on learning reflexes on the left foot/hand, which correspond to the cardiac area, heart, and spleen. Stress, emotions, contraindications, and alternative approaches to treating “dis-ease” in these systems are explored. At this level students will demonstrate a full treatment without the use of notes or video tracking. In addition hand reflexology of the points learned will be practiced, and students develop mini sequences relative to symptoms. There will be also be an opportunity for discussion relating to case studies and progress in students’ practice.
Reflexology Level V: Working in Harmony
(Pre-requisite: Reflexology IV: Taking it to Heart)
16 CE hours for Massage Therapists
$260 Full tuition, or $230 (paid two weeks in advance)
At this level the main focus of study is the respiratory, endocrine, and reproductive systems. Although reflexes for these systems have been practiced in past levels, their specific relationship in working together will be discussed. Students will consider both alternative and allopathic approaches to treatment, and how the reflexologist can work in harmony with different therapies and disciplines. Charkas, chi energy, meridians, and different forms of reflexology, such as vertical, and facial reflexology, are also considered. In treatment, students will also demonstrate their own style and the use of intuition. They will demonstrate a full hand and foot treatment without the use of notes or video tracking.
Reflexology Level VI: Practice and Professionalism
(Pre-requisite: Reflexology V: Working in Harmony)
16 CE hours for Massage Therapists
$260 Full tuition, or $230 (paid two weeks in advance)
This level brings together all that the students have learned in the program. The final focus is the skin, and special senses, including the “sixth” one. Students will discuss, and know how to utilize all that they have learned in the program to establish their own practice. ARCB certification, examination and advanced reflexology courses are also discussed. Students will know how to promote reflexology, conduct research, and themselves as professionals. They will also be able to demonstrate hand and foot reflexology of any system, and assist colleagues in their understanding. All case study and program binders will be submitted and reviewed before graduation from the program.
