Our Ortho-Bionomy Advanced Practitioner Training Program is designed to deepen and broaden students understanding and practice of Ortho-Bionomy beyond the Basic Practitioner level. This program is designed with many layers, aspects, and dimensions. Each module creates its own synergy by combining classes that share a unifying theme. This thematic approach is unique to the Academy. The rhythm of the program provides periods of concentrated study interwoven with time for integration and practice.
“Studying Ortho-Bionomy at NMAHA was an incredible experience that deepened my resources as an individual and as a bodyworker. The teaching was outstanding and the environment harmonious.”
- Phoebe de Larrabeiti, New Boston, NH
Module themes express philosophy and concepts that are fundamental to the wider understanding and practice of Ortho-Bionomy. Students can take any Advanced-level classes or enroll in the whole program after completing 2/3 of the Basic Practitioner Training Program. The Basic Practitioner Training Program modules are included because students learn so much about these topics by taking the same class a second time. The Advanced modules interweave the Phases with the trauma model and introduce new topics like visceral work and Phase 7.
Basic Practitioner program modules include:
1. Engaging: Muscles Fluids and Organ Function
2. Relationships: Exploring the Somatic Experience
3. Conversation: Advanced Pelvis and Energy Techniques
4. Residential Training
Advanced Practitioner student and practical study modules include:
1. Interconnection Weaving the Phase and Trauma Skills
2. Sensing: Visceral Approaches and Emotional Resourcing
3. Synergy: Universal Heartbeat, Breath and the Spiral
Students who complete the program will receive a diploma and be eligible to apply to the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International for appointment as Registered Advanced Practitioners.
Students enrolling in this program may transfer up to 100 approved class units attended outside the Academy. All of these modules & courses can be taken for Continuing Education credits.
